Global Tiling Company

1. General Terms

By engaging with Global Tiling, its advertisements, quotations, or services, customers agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Global Tiling reserves the right to modify, update, or withdraw any offers, promotions, or pricing at any time without notice. Engagement with promotional material does not constitute a binding agreement until a site inspection or consultation has been completed and a formal quote has been issued.

2. Offers & Promotions

All promotional offers advertised via Meta (Facebook & Instagram) or any other platform are limited-time, subject to availability, and may be modified or withdrawn without notice.

Example promotions include:

  • Get your bathroom renovated from just $15,999, completed in 15 days — or we’ll pay you $250 for every day we’re late

  • Upgrade your outdoor areas with paving from just $190 per sqm — fully supplied and installed

  • Transform your outdoor space with a fully paved backyard from just $4,999, supplied and installed

All prices, timeframes, and inclusions in promotions are indicative only and subject to inspection. Global Tiling is not responsible for any misunderstanding or assumptions based on promotional content.

3. Site Inspection & Pricing

Final pricing is confirmed only after an on-site inspection or consultation.

Factors that affect pricing include, but are not limited to:

  • Project size, scope, and complexity

  • Existing site conditions and access

  • Waterproofing requirements and substrate condition

  • Materials selected (tiles, paving, finishes, membranes)

  • Preparation, demolition, or repair work required

Customers acknowledge that pricing in ads is an estimate and may not reflect the final cost.

4. Booking, Deposits & Payment

A deposit may be required to secure a booking and allocate labour and materials. Deposit amounts and the balance payment schedule will be clearly outlined in the formal quote or invoice. Deposits are non-refundable unless Global Tiling is unable to deliver the agreed-upon

service. Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur administrative charges or interest.

5. Scheduling and Completion Timeframes

All start dates, scheduling windows, and completion timeframes provided by Global Tiling — including any estimates referenced in advertisements, quotations, discussions, or promotional material — are approximate estimates only and are not guaranteed completion dates.

Project timelines may change due to factors including but not limited to:

  • weather conditions

  • acts of God or natural events

  • illness or staff availability

  • site access restrictions

  • site conditions or property complexity

  • preparation requirements or previously undiscovered surface issues

  • additional work requested by the client

  • delays caused by the client or third parties

  • material shortages or supplier delays

  • subcontractor availability

  • safety requirements

  • regulatory or compliance requirements

  • any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Global Tiling.

Global Tiling will make reasonable efforts to complete works within estimated timeframes; however, the Client acknowledges that project duration may vary depending on the circumstances of each property and job.

Delays resulting from the above factors do not constitute a breach of contract, and Global Tiling will not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damages arising from such delays.

6. Service Limitations

Global Tiling provides renovation, tiling, waterproofing, and paving services only as outlined in the formal quote.

Services do not include:

  • Structural engineering or major structural repairs

  • Plumbing or electrical works unless specified in the quote

  • Council approvals, certifications, or inspections unless agreed in writing

  • Any work not listed in the formal quote

Any additional services requested outside the original scope will require a separate quote and written approval.

7. Liability & Warranty

Global Tiling is not liable for pre-existing property damage, hidden defects, substrate movement, or unrealistic expectations not outlined in the quote. The business is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including delays caused by weather, access issues, supplier delays, or third-party trades.

All services are provided ‘as is’ unless otherwise specified in writing. Warranties apply only to workmanship and materials specified in the formal quote and do not cover:

  • Wear and tear or normal material aging

  • Cracking, movement, or settlement due to structural or ground conditions

  • Damage caused by misuse, poor maintenance, or external trades

  • Product performance beyond manufacturer warranties

8. Consumer Rights & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions do not override any rights under Australian Consumer Law. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue amicably before considering legal action. All disputes will be governed by the relevant laws and jurisdiction of

Australia.

By requesting a quote, booking a job, or otherwise engaging with Global Tiling, customers confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
